Dear Grooming Professional,

Each year, during the summer and early autumn, the creative and industry focused minds behind Intergroom’s Convention come together to brainstorm ideas for Judges and Educational Presentations for the coming year.

Indeed, it is a “fun” and sometimes trying period which ultimately leads to the production of the Show Catalog you’re holding in your hands. We have again put together the makings of a world-class event for the grooming industry! Continuing our reputation of offering the grooming community what it wants, we have recruited top-notch Judges and Speakers from across the USA and beyond! As always, exhibitors with tried and true products and equipment (plus new products) offer one stop shopping in our Trade Show.

Our “Host Hotel” will be the Marriott located adjacent to the Garden State Conference & Exhibit Center. Refundable deposits will be required for those of you traveling with dogs (maximum of 2 per room please). See the Hotel Reservation pages of the catalog.

Please make plans to join us for our “Opening Night Party” on Friday Evening, the 20th! We will have lots of excitement with our wonderful DJ back again, cash bar, and hors d’oeuvres. Open to all, this event is co-sponsored by Wahl Clipper Corporation and Dog World Magazine. Come see what additional surprises will be there!

INTERGROOM’S EXTREME MAKEOVER – a canine grooming event, will be held Sunday Afternoon. Brand new rules this year! You must arrive with one breed and completely make-over into another! Read the rules carefully!

NOT TO BE MISSED! Watch our dynamic Finale to the weekend on Sunday at 5:00 on the Trade Show Floor. Both the Rising Star and the Groomer of the Year Competitions will present their finals here between 5 and 6:00. Lights, music, drama, and more!

Don’t forget, the Cardinal Awards Banquet will take place on Saturday. Cardinal Awards will be presented as well as the Groomteam “Top Ten” for 2006 and our competing team for 2007 freshly back from the competition the weekend before in Italy! Our wonderful DJ will be there for your dancing pleasure. Plus - a surprise guest!

We continue to offer multiple educational Master Classes (Saturday & Sunday) that are included in your conference fee. In addition, we are offering FULL DAY programs on Friday the 20th. See catalog for further information.
